TEACHING DELA PAZ GRADE 1 STUDENTS

I really enjoyed it depsite the fact that we were so TIRED and DRAINED after. Woah. Apat na kami nun ah and we only taught them for an hour. What more kung mag-isa kang nagtuturo for the WHOLE DAY. Gahh. I think I can't survive that. Haha. For me it was really an eye-opener and it was really some experience. I loved our students! They were so kind and they were really active and participative! Grabe. I thought our gimmiks won't work but woah! I think they really enjoyed it! --sabay hindi pala. Haha. I liked teaching the students from Dela Paz a lot better than St. Catherine's. :\ Ang tataray nila eh! Haha. When we were teaching them they looked more mature than we were. :\ Haha.

At ang saya! Haha. They liked my drawings although when I showed them my drawing of a bird, they said it was a chicken. :\ Haha. Pero ang saya talaga. Makulit sila of course because they were children pero they really appreciated what we did. Haha. Tapos medyo nakonsyensya nga ako kasi we were forcing them to sit down. As in everytime, we would tell them to sit and they would not obey. Kaya pala sila tayo ng tayo is because, ang sikip ng classroom nila. As in yung space was not enough for them to be able to sit. Magkakadikit talaga yung chairs. Naiiipit pala sila kapag umuupo sila. That really made me sad.

We were also lucky, really. Our students were Grade 1 and we taught them in the morning so they were fresh and clean. Kwento kasi sakin ng friends ko from the other sections, grabe daw sila nung afternoon na. The smeeelllll daw. Haha.

Kwento rin sakin ni Nika, there was a group before who taught in the same school tapos they gave away pencils to the students. Ginawa ba daw namang ng teacher, she collected the pencils from the students tapos sa kanya nalang daw. What the heck! Ano yun, ibebenta nya? :l Pano na ang kinabukasan ng bansa?! PANO NA?! :O Haha. Labo. :l

Gahh. Anyways, our reco's on Friday and I haven't made a single palanca. :l (Ehem...medyo parinig narin sa mga nagbabasa nito...ehem). Haha.
